Please, help me to help my mother! I will tell you in brief her illness history and why I need your help to save her life.

My mothers' name is Galina Slavcheva Tosheva, she is 46 years old and we live in the town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Her health problems started some 20 years ago. She was 25 when they discovered a brain tumor (meningioma) inside her head. She suffered 8 difficult operations but unfortunately - with no final possitive results (the tumor is on a very delicate and hard to reach area).

Unable to be removed, the tumor kept growing and causing her more  intensive and severe pain. This let to an operative intervention, after which  the entire right half of her head became insenisble. This caused her a lot of discomfort and new problems. 

My mother was told that Radiotherapy treatment is her last chance and they send her to a Canser-specialized hospital in Sofia. The therapy was interrupted for two months due to some technical breakdown of the equipment used in the process.

She was tested on every 6-month period for two years and the results indicated that the tumor had finally stopped growing.

But on the last exam on 07/25/2006 it turned out it is growing bigger again. She was consulted by the best physicians in the country and they recommended an operational treatment in the University Clinic of Augsburg, Germany. 

The above mentioned clinic was contacted and the financial estimates required for such treatment was set to  35,000-40,000 EURO.

Meanwhile the tumor grew even bigger and almost blocked her right eye vision and the operation now seemed even more urgent than before.

This sum is back-breaking and way beyond our family's potentials. We started a fund-raising campaign - mostly among friends and relatives. We sold out a small piece of land, an used vehicle, a garage, used all our savings and got some loans and as a start we transferred 25,000 EURO to the clinic.

This is the reason for me to seek you help and support. I rely a lot on your sympathy and responsivenesshope. And I am really so thankful for all you do the help me and my mother! 

Let the rest of her life is different from the tradegy that took her best years so far!
